Youth Shooting Sports Activity--2011
The Carbon County Fair and the 4-H Shooting Sports clubs will sponsor a shooting sports activity for Carbon County youth held in conjunction with the Carbon County Fair on August 9, 2011 beginning at 5:00 PM. The location is at the North Springs Shooting Range. Activities will include small-bore rifle, trap, and archery.
Participants will be divided into three age groups—13 and under and 14-18 year old. This is a fun activity and prizes will be awarded to the shooters. All participants must have a blue card. Long rifle .22 bullets and shotgun shells will be provided. Some limited archery equipment will be provided for those who do not have their own and want to participate in the archery activity.
Registration forms may be downloaded from the link on the previous page or may be obtained from the Extension Office. Electronic copies of the form may be emailed to the Extension Office at kathie.thayn@usu.edu. Please pre-register if possible--it makes it easier to plan.
